It was actually quite disappointing, partly due to the fact that Jess and I were both in the worst stages of our respective colds, and partly because all Museums had enormous lines of people waiting to get in. But we ventured out into the night to see some exhibits. I mostly wanted to see La Place de la Concorde lit in blue; the Blue Klein Concorde. It was neat, all the statues surrounding the square were also illuminated.

We ate dinner at a cafe, Le Chat Noir, where the nicest waiter advised us to watch out for ourselves and our purses! He was kind. From there we went to see the Eiffel Tower lit up (every hour it sparkles!). We got some cotton candy (Barbe a papa) and rode the merry-go-round (a double decker!) with the tower in the background. Took loads of pictures, then we parted ways (it was getting late and we didn't want to miss the metro) and I continued on to the Klein Blue lighting. I made it, but camera's battery barely did, plus I missed the metro (it closes at 1am) so I found my trusty and recent purchase, Paris by every arrondissement, and found my way back up to the Sacre Coeur; it only took about 45 mins. It was still a good night!

As I walked home alone, I stumbled upon the Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show.
